• Date Of Birth: January 8, 1953
• Age at Time of Disappearance: 34 years old
• Height and Weight at Time of Disappearance: 5'3, 5"; 180 lbs.
• Distinguishing Characteristics: Reddish brown hair; blue/green eyes. Hair usually cut short and naturally straight. She has two scars on face. One on the bridge of nose and other on middle of forhead. Both scars run horizontal. Fair complexion with some freckles. Well endowed chest. Unusually thick toenails. She had severe eczema. Did not wear make-up but usually had manicured nails. Possible B-Positive blood type. Partial dental records are available. DNA from daughter/sister available. Her nickname is "Cathy".

Circumstances of Disappearance
Mattingly was last seen on November 2, 1987 after police started investigating missing money at a Lafayette Road gas station where Mattingly was assistant manager. She told her daughter that she was leaving to avoid facing possible criminal charges. An arrest warrant was never issued for Mattingly, and the investigation was closed. It wasn't until 2001 that a missing person's report was filed on Mattingly.
