The partially mummified remains of the victim were found on July 8, 1996 in a shallow ditch on Flannery Road approximately a ½ mile east of highway 113 in an unincorporated area of Solano County, CA. Investigators were unsure how she came to be in that area, as the location was remote and few residences were nearby.
She was nude, covered by a blanket. The woman's cause of death was undetermined, with no sign of trauma. No match came back on her fingerprints, taken from one hand, or dental records.
