  • Estimated age: 28 – 40 years old
  • Approximate Height and Weight: 162 cm (5’4"); 59 kg (130 lbs.)
  • Distinguishing Characteristics: Slim build. No tattoos or scars. Good physical health prior to death.
  • Dentals: Good dental hygiene.
  • Clothing: Pepe brand blue jeans, button-fly, size 30 with black leather Calvin Klein belt; Fundamentals black t-shirt, size M.; long sleeved, dark blue, cotton t-shirt; Replay Blue Jeans brand, black coloured running shoes, small size, fairly worn; black cotton underwear; silver ring with aqua coloured stone on right hand, pinky finger.
  • Items: He had a blue coloured Eagle Creek Travel brand, nylon knapsack containing hiking items such as a candle lantern, mini-mag flashlight, water container and matches. There was also a Levi’s pocket watch with a blue face and a built in compass on the band located in the knapsack.
    Other items found with the bag include a luggage tag sticker from a Costa Rican domestic airline, a plastic laundry bag from Sutton Place Hotel in Toronto, and matches from Sheraton Hotel, W Hotels (American chain) and Barclay Hotel in Vancouver. There were also 2 protein bars from a G.N.C. store, more than likely from the States.

Case History
On September 5, 2001, a male body was found at a rest area of a remote cross-country ski trail near Deep River, Ontario.
