Source Information:
On December 12, 2002, at about 11:30 A.M., a surveying crew was working at a construction site located at 6100 North O’Connor (on the east side of O’Connor at Buffalo Road - - northeast part of Irving at 635 and 161). Crew members observed body parts at the location and notified Irving Police.
Investigation at the scene revealed 7 garbage bags containing dismembered body parts. There were 2 body parts (leg and arm) lying on the ground outside the garbage bags. There was very little blood or odor present. All garbage bags were black with red pull type ties and had been tied by twisting the bag at the end and not by the pull ties. Some of the bags had been double bagged. Inside the bags were shopping bags from Carnival Food Store and Fiesta Food Store. 2 Carnival bags contained the arms and the Fiesta bag contained organ parts.
On December 16, 2002, around 8:30 A.M., another survey crew was at the same location when they found the head of the body. The head was approximately 950 feet east from where the other parts were found. The head had no facial features and most of the skin was gone. It appeared that the head had been moved to that location by dogs.
