Circumstances of Disappearance
Duarte was last seen in Richmond, California on January 24, 1981. She was wearing designer Levi's jeans, a purple blouse decorated with feather, tan cowboy boots and a gold wedding band at the time of her disappearance. She was also carrying a red purse.
James F. Luddon and John Sapp were convicted of first-degree murder in Duarte's case. Duarte has never been located.
